Yoevil Historical Bikes is an overpainted photograph that I took while we visited Yoevil, England in August of 2018. We were searching for information about my great grandfather, who emigrated to the United States in 1873. My husband and I were fortunate to find the town historian who gave us a look at the storehouse of historical objects. This is one of the pictures I took. In painting it, I express some of the curiosity about and pleasure with artifacts from the past.
